Affiliate ABZs
I spent a lot of time this month talking about some things to watch out for when it comes to affiliate marketing. Maybe it’s my anxiety talking, but you know what, it’s important! You can re-read them here if you want to brush up on affiliate fraud, when to skip affiliate marketing and some affiliate marketing pitfalls. Anyway I’m ready to get back to win-win energy.
If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a million times and I’ll say a million times more: Affiliate marketing can be easy money, but you still gotta put in some work (or pay someone to put it in for you). I’ve seen some clients take a modest budget and absolutely crush sales goals—like to the tune of thousands in extra monthly revenue. I’ve also seen clients blow their quarterly budget on a bad influencer campaign and swear off affiliate marketing as a scam. What do you think they did differently?
For more specifics on how to do more crushing and less blowing (I didn’t mean for it to come out that way but it did and obviously I’m leaving it), stay tuned for this week’s paid newsletter, where I’m tackling 4 key strategies that will help you maximize your affiliate program. It’ll be out later this week! If you’re not already, please become a paid subscriber — it’s less than a latte a month!
