HelloZ
How is it already Thursday though? Much like most (if not all) of you, I’ve been insanely busy this week in the best way. You know when you are just banging out work and feel super accomplished? I wish I was this gung ho about learning how to make a cool Reel or TikTok video. Never have I ever felt as old as I do by *not* fully grasping all the editing possibilities.
K, LFG!
TV TimeZ
The new season of “Ted Lasso” is now streaming on Apple TV+. “You could fill two internets with what I don’t know about football.”
Season two of FX’s “The Bear” returns this June on Hulu. Tagline: “It’s not a reopening, it’s a rebirth.” I’ll follow Lip to the ends of the earth!
Lenny Kravitz has been tapped to host the ‘”2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards.” LL Cool J will also appear, as well as Latto (who?!), P!NK, Kelly Clarkson, Muni Long (who?!), Keith Urban, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Coldplay and Cody Johnson (who?!). The show airs live on Fox on Monday, March 27 at 8pm.
Drew Barrymore has been tapped to host the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards. The event will air live from the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles on Sunday, May 6th at 8pm on MTV. Do I even have MTV? Legit don’t know.
Peacock renewed “Days of our Lives” for two additional seasons. At that point, the show will be into its 60th season. Soap operas are the OG “reality TV” shows and proof that Americans are obsessed with other people’s drama.
Speaking of fkn drama, Charity Lawson was named the lead in the upcoming 20th season of “The Bachelorette.” Sent home by Zach Shallcross following her hometown date on the current season of “The Bachelor,” the 27-year-old will begin handing out roses when the series returns this summer on ABC. I haven’t watched in two seasons, but with a name like Charity, and with summer being a slow TV time, I just might get into it.
“Bupkis,” the comedy series inspired by Pete Davidson’s life, will drop on Thursday, Mary 4. All eight episodes were executive produced and co-written by the ex-flame to Kim K. He’ll star in the project along with Edie Falco and Joe Pesci. Believe you me, it’s not lost on anyone that the show is on PeaCOCK.

Becky Vieira - a former publicist/colleague and current dear friend - wrote a book! I’m so proud I can’t take it! Enough About the Baby: A Brutally Honest Guide to Surviving the First Year of Motherhood was published last week. The book is everything she wished she knew about motherhood that we don't talk about nearly enough. Topics range from the reality of that first postpartum poop to maternal mental health and the strain a new baby can put on our relationships. It's a guide to new motherhood that has nothing to do with the baby. Good Housekeeping has just named it one of the 11 best books for new parents (alongside several parenting book legends like What to Expect The First Year, Cribsheet, The Happiest Baby on the Block and more). You can get this gem on Amazon here and follow her infinite wisdom and wit on Instagram at @wittyotter.
I’m definitely going to beef up my recommendations on ThingZ To Buy in upcoming posts. They have always been well-received! I
