The Top Priority for Retail in 2025, According to The Experts
Vol: 189 - Plus BRAND NEW Consumer Shopping Behavior Stats
HelloZ
Helllloooo retail brands and publicists: Today’s post is for you! I got my hands on an Impact.com Customer Journey report, and it has all the goodies. By which of course I means snackable, stackable (slide-deckable!) stats and figures. The report breaks down how consumers discover, research, and purchase products, how the customer journey is evolving, and how and where shoppers are spending their time in today’s multichannel world.
Let’s just go, yea?

Just a classic case of “I found the best, so you don’t have to do the research.”
My favorite coffee for Nespresso is this Half-Caff blend. If someone can teach me how to make my own healthy vanilla creamer/flavor, that’d be swell.
Don’t waste your time looking for the cheapest paper for your printer. It’s here. Thank you, Amazon.
I’ve been using the same deodorant and perfume since the age of 17 and I’m GUTTED that formulas for both have been changed. I wrote to the brand and expressed my sadness and they basically told me that times have changed and they have to keep up with the times (and ingredient avails). I guess I have to realize that it’s been over 20 years and things change. Nevertheless, I’m sad over it! This Vanicream is the best dupe I found to said deodorant.

The Top Priority for Retail in 2025, According to The Experts + BRAND NEW Consumer Shopping Behavior Stats
These stats would be particularly great if you’re looking for fresh content or juicy numbers that help tell the story on any of the following:
Product Discovery - Understanding how and where consumers get their ish
Research Patterns - Analyzing behaviors in the research phase, number of touchpoints, demo influences, etc.
Purchase Decisions - Exploring price sensitivity, quality considerations, and preferred buying channels
Attribution (and the challenges therein) - Connecting touchpoints to actions across a non-linear journey
Consumer Behavior Segments: Looking at different demographics and their tendencies
If any ❇ or all ❇ of that speaks your language, get your CTRL + C fingers ready. And even if you’re not a content machine on the hunt for your next meal (maybe that’s just me? 🥺) these kinds of round-ups do a good job of highlighting where it’s good to be focusing energy (and budget) right now. The intel is based on a survey of over 1,000 shoppers — so decent sample size! — and does a great job of illustrating how modern shoppers discover, research, and buy in 2025.
