NewZ and ShowZ
Investigation Discovery has greenlit a new episode of its docuseries “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.” The new episode, “Breaking the Silence,” will premiere Sunday, April 7 and featured former Nickelodeon child stars from the early 2000s, including Drake Bell. Aren’t we all just waiting for Amanda Bynes to sign on?
Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington will star in and executive produce a new Apple TV+ limited psychological thriller series, “Imperfect Women.” Read that again.
A new documentary about The Beach Boys will premiere on Disney+ on May 24. It will celebrate the band’s achievements while also showcasing never-before-seen footage and interviews. Aruba, Jamaica, oooo I wanna take ya.
CBS is sticking with the Golden Globes. The net signed a five-year deal with Dick Clark Productions for the show, which will air next in January 2025. Save the date.
Season three of HBO’s “Euphoria” is coming, but not anytime soon, as creator Sam Levinson continues to craft the drama’s next chapter – and the show’s stars field new offers. I’ve never seen this show. When I started watching it initially, as an empath, I had a physical/emotional reaction and cannot bring myself to watch it!
“The Interrogation Tapes: A Special Edition of 20/20,” a true-crime docuseries looking at criminal cases through the lens of interrogations, premieres Monday, April 1 at 10pm. Ah, the type of show you watch to help you doze off into a peaceful slumber.
Keith Urban will serve as mega mentor on season 25 of the NBC’s “The Voice.” Urban – who learned a thing or two about singing competitions as a judge on “American Idol,” as well as the Australian version of “The Voice” – joins coaches Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay (who???), John Legend and Reba McEntire beginning Monday, April 8. Is this really still a show?

Why do these just make the day better?
