HelloZ
It’s been a fun house here with both hubby and I being sick. I’ve had to postpone work (grateful to my clients for understanding!), drink lots of tea, and wear a mask nonstop. Needless to say, I will be one of the people continuing to work through the new year. Outside of finishing up client work, I plan on sharpening up the offerings of ZlataPR and treating my business as a client. Doesn’t it feel like there’s never enough time to do that? Next week is the week!
Another big goal I have is to officially launch my AffiliateZ from A to Z course. I already have the shell and it’s really exciting to be making so much progress. What are some of your goals for 2023?
TV TimeZ
The animated series Velma will make its debut on HBO Max on January 12. The show, starring Mindy Kaling, tells the origin story of Velma Dinkley, the brains behind the Scooby-Doo gang of mystery solvers. Personally, I’d rather have Mindy work on more The Sex Lives of College Girls episodes.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey comes back for season 13 on Tuesday, February 7 at 9pm. Literally counting down the days. Melissa Gorga shared the trailer on her Instagram with the caption, “I’ve built an empire with the bricks they’ve thrown at me 🥱” and honestly, I think that’s an amazing statement.
Access Hollywood host Mario Lopez and Ana Gasteyer (I only know her from SNL) will host NBC’s broadcast of the 134th Rose Parade on January 2 in Pasadena. I don’t know about you, but I miss Zack Morris.
Because you don’t have enough content out there making you feel like shit, Netflix is launching 30 hours of workout videos from the Nike Training Club. Starting December 30, workouts will be available across fitness levels and in 10 languages. Anyone want to add this to their 2023 goals list?
In more Netflix news, Wednesday was watched for nearly 6 billion minutes during its first five days. I did not contribute to those 6 billion.
Miley Cyrus will have her own New Year’s Eve party that she’s co-hosting with Dolly Parton. It starts December 31 at 10:30pm on NBC. Guests include singer-songwriter Fletcher (who?), rapper Latto (who?), LA rock band Liily (who?), hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd (who?), and Sia (okay, I know this one). “Saturday Night Live” cast members Chloe Fineman, Sarah Sherman and comedy group Please Don’t Destroy will also make appearances. Happy New Year, Ya Filthy Animals!
(Wait, we’re still talking about Netflix?) Netflix won approval to build a $900 million production facility at the Jersey Shore. They’re paying $55 million for a 292-acre site on the former Fort Monmouth military base, with plans for 12 sound stages. Not to be outdone, DJais in Belmar adds 12 more “sound stages” of their own. Fist bumps (ahem, Netflix-bumps!) for all!
Speaking of these guys, season six of Jersey Shore Family Vacation will premiere on Thursday, January 26 at 8pm on MTV. Mark the calendar.
