It’s Friday! Once again, this means nothing when you’re a parent, and even less when it’s a holiday weekend. YAY, we get to figure out how to entertain our offspring! HOORAH! I’m mostly kidding because surprisingly, it’s a jam-packed schedule this weekend, but of course, work will for sure be peppered in. Does anyone ever turn off? If so, teach me the way!
Happy, happy 4th of July to you all. I absolutely LOVE fireworks in the most intense way. Despite the volume and incessant popping sounds, I feel a sense of calm when I look up at the sky and see all the beautiful colors. ENJOY!

Orlando Bloom plans to open up on Peacock. My-oh-my would I love to rearrange the words in that sentence to read something else. A three-part docuseries “Orlando Bloom: To The Edge” follows the actor and adventure enthusiast as he pushes his limits to overcome his fears and learn more about himself. Despite my opener sentence, who prey tell actually cares? American dollars are being spent on this production. Is Orlando Bloom such a big figure to warrant this interest?
Season three of Apple TV’s “The Morning Show” debuts Wednesday, September 13 with two episodes. Bonus good news: the series has already been renewed for a fourth season.
Nat Geo’s “Rewind the ‘90s” premieres Monday, July 31 at 9pm with back-to-back episodes. The docuseries features celebrities and pop culture pundits reliving the decade. So you know, like the Oldies Station, but on TV.
But wait, there’s more … Docuseries “I Wanna Rock: The ‘80s Metal Dream” debuts Tuesday, July 18 on Paramount+. Give me all the spandex and leather.
Disney+ is releasing a sing-along version of “Hamilton!” today. The filmed version of the stage musical will include on-screen lyrics. Oh great, a lesson in how to read really fast!
The 66th annual Grammy Awards have been set for Sunday, February 4 at 8pm on CBS and Paramount+. Nominations will be announced November 10. I cannot commit to something next weekend, forget about in February!
In TV news you cannot make up, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino of “Jersey Shore” is the new host of a true-crime series. “Statute of Limitations” is a 10-episode limited series that focuses on ordinary people who have committed nonviolent crimes. “This one-of-a-kind series features crimes openly discussed by people who ‘got away with it’.
