Vol. 40: Affiliate news, world news, funnieZ and more
It’s the day after Halloween, which means some dumbass celebrity will be canceled by EOD for wearing something insensitive last night. Fun newZ roundup coming your way this Tuesday and ABZs are back! Big news is brewing in the affiliate marketing world, and the timing is perfect. I’ve been getting some questions about the affiliate platform Impact Radius over the last few weeks and after Dana Baarsden’s Substack drop this AM, I legit got 17 more! I’ve got answers for you. It’s becoming a new darling in editorial houses, and I’m drafting an in-depth piece about why as we speak! Look for more in tomorrow’s paid subscriber issue. I talked to Dana (quoting her!) and I’m getting some insights from Impact on the impact of their acquisition. Spoiler: the acquisition actually happened a year ago, but it’s making traction now. Spoiler 2: Don’t panic if you’re on ShareASale or elsewhere! I’ll tell you why. By the way 3: Don’t forget the importance of the Refersion/Amazon news I gave you too! Groundbreaking as well, but how fast will it make traction?
If you’re not already a subscriber, tomorrow’s forthcoming post is a great excuse to get on it — especially for my PR and media friendZ! I’ll be taking you into the world of Impact Radius and making the case for it as a primary contender. You don’t want to miss it! Here’s a sneak peek of what‘s to come:

Like I said, I recently caught up with my good friend Dana Baardsen who is brilliant about all things affiliate marketing, especially since she sits on the media pub side. She’s also a GURU on gift guides, and her Gift Guide Gold course is a straight-up ✨BANGER.✨ I can’t say enough good things about it, honestly! She breaks it down and teaches you all the techniques to get high-quality product placements in some of the best-converting gift guides of the season. 10/10 Highly recommend!
