The (long) weekend comes and goes like a short nap: It’s necessary, way too fast, and leaves me grumpy when it’s over. But Monday is gonna Monday whether I bitch about it or not, so might as well make it productive, right?!

We had a FAB time in DC and I plan on listing out my itinerary along with recommendations in an upcoming post. I also have some new FAVE ProductZ to share, which also seems to be a hit. Stay tuned!

This week I am working on a ton of writing assignments, pitching my clients to media and running a few affiliate setups. In news absolutely no one could have possibly predicted, the $8/mo Twitter subscription has been a bonafide disaster. After a surge of impersonation issues (including one that sent stocks tumbling at Eli Lilly LOL), Twitter has suspended the plan for the time being.
It’s not all fairytales over at the Happiest Place on Earth these days. Disney CEO Bob Chapek announced in a memo that the company will “have to make tough and uncomfortable decisions,” alluding to layoffs and spending cuts. There is some joke beneath the surface about politics, but I can’t land it and honestly maybe I’m just hoping this might bring ticket prices down a smidge.
Sad news, Comedian Gallagher passed away on November 11. He was famous for smashing watermelons, which turned out to be way less benign than I think he probably thought when he chose that bit.
Leo DiCaprio turned 48 this past week. I know it should not be shocking that time passes and people age, and yet, here I am, shookethed once again.
Pete Davidson has moved on from Kim K (and Ariana Grande and Kate Beckinsale and Cindy Crawford’s daughter…) and is reportedly dating model and actress Emily Ratajkowski. You see what good jokes can do???? DO YOU SEE!?
