Monday Funday + New ABZs: Don't Launch an Influencer Campaign Without These 7 Things
Vol. 127 I'm vanilla, baby
Hello friendZ! Life is wild around here this week, as per usual. There is a thick sense of the impending holiday season in the air, with gifts and gadgets and people and parties all fighting for the place on the overfilled calendar. Oh yeah and that little thing called work that pays for the aforementioned goodieZ still has to get her fill too.
Mondays generally suck but funniez don’t, and I’ve got the right dose to pick you up. I’ve also got a new ABZ post lined up for today. It has some tips about influencer campaigns, and some key elements agencies/publicists should have in place BEFORE heading into content production.
As alwayZ, thanks for being here! I appreciate you!
NewZ
A lion escaped from a circus and was on the loose in residential Rome for several hours this weekend before being recaptured and taken back to the circus.

Gordon Ramsey and wife Tana welcomed their 6th child into the world this past week. Which is an impressive feat on its own but nobody is mentioning in the headlines that the baby was born on Gordon’s birthday — and, even crazier, it’s not his first kid born on his birthday! His 22 year-old daughter Tilly also shares the November 8 birthday with dad and new baby boy, Jesse.
ShowZ
Anthony Anderson (From Black-ish) is set to host We Are Family alongside his mother, Doris Bowman, replacing Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne Foxx, after Jamie was hospitalized earlier this year. Jamie remains on as exec producer, and the show premieres Wednesday, January 3.

ABC News has a new week-long series in honor of American Education Week. “The American Classroom” kicked off yesterday and the finale airs with the ABC New Live Special streaming this Friday, November 17 at 8:30p.
Country music crooner and Brianna Chickenfy bf Zach Bryan has paired up with Bud Light for the Super Bowl. If you don’t know who Brianna Chickenfry is, all I can say is that you probably aren’t from Massachusetts and you likely have a healthy amount screen time. Anyway the Bud Light Backyard Tour Presents Zach Bryan concert happens in Las Vegas on February 9. Tickets start at $20.
Affiliate Marketing ABZs: 7 Things To Have in Place Before Launching an Influencer Campaign
When working with influencers for affiliate marketing, it’s important to remember that, as an agency or publicist, your job is to keep things as simple as possible for your brand clients (aside from improving their market share and revenue of course… no presh!).
Different influencers will deliver content in different ways, and your approval process may vary from client to client. To ensure your teams don’t get overwhelmed by the logistics of coordination and that everyone can focus on the deliverables and success of the campaign — instead of, you know, searching through emails and Google Drive for the right version and approved logos — here are a few key elements I recommend having in place BEFORE content production begins.
