HelloZ
Welcome to Thursday. It’s the last night of Hanukkah, but Jews and their supporters (thank you!) will continue to spread love and light with no end in sight.
I’ve got a lot of fun news and zingers below for your reading pleasure. Let’s not forget about my Ask Zlata Anything, happening next week on December 18. This is for paid subscribers only and because I’m feeling gifty, let’s do a little 50% off an annual subscription, shall we? Starting next year, a lot of these will be paid (not just affiliate ones), so subscribe now at this insanely low rate so you don’t have to miss any.
P.S. It’s a tax write off and almost the end of the year, so you’re really winning in all the right places. Offer valid through Sunday, December 17. Thanks in advance for your support!

The next AZA is set for Monday, December 18 at 1:00 p.m.
If you’re in PR and looking to put some oomph in your affiliate results or have questions on how to pitch, this is for you! If you’re a brand looking to manage your own affiliate program, this is for you!
These Q&A sessions are for paid subscribers (hello, perks!) and they offer a small group setting where we can dig into the details of affiliate marketing and PR. Not a paid subscriber yet? This is the perfect excuse! The annual subscription cost is less than my hourly rate at ZlataPR, giving you not only access to me for the AZA Q&A session, but ALSO ALL THE ARCHIVES!
🚨🚨Sign up here for the AZA and share your thoughts ahead of time!🚨🚨

ABC News Studios has a new documentary event coming. “Disney 100: A Century of Dreams – A Special Edition of 20/20” will feature interviews, BTS footage and never-before-heard stories. Airs Thursday, December 14, and because the Mouse can’t get enough of himself, it also heads to Hulu on December 15, and streams on Disney+ later this month.
Netflix's new 8-part reality show The Trust comes to the network this January, when 11 strangers come together to share a house and are given an equal share of a quarter million dollars — OR, they can vote off the other cast members and get more for themselves. So basically group therapy for trust issues with a cash prize. Maybe if I had a cash prize incentive my therapy would be going better. 🤔
Stranger Things is back in production, following the shutdown from the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes earlier this year. It’s the 5th and final season for the paranormal thriller, and all those kids are 100% adults now.
Grey’s Anatomy spinoff Station 19 will end with its 7th and final season coming this March to ABC. Meanwhile, in a deal between Disney and Netflix, all past 19 seasons of Grey’s will be available on Netflix on a non-exclusive basis, while Hulu, which launches on Disney+ in 2024, will offer exclusive in-season episodes of the upcoming 20th season.
If you have to fight the urge to jovially remind people “It’s Showtime,” you should probably know that now we’re calling it Paramount+ with Showtime. The new multiplatform brand integrates streaming and linear content, which sounds like pitch deck language if I ever heard it.
TV nominees for the 81st Annual Golden Globes Awards have been announced, featuring the usual suspects (The Crown, The Morning Show, The Bear, among others) plus new-ish-comers Jury Duty and Only Murders in the Building, but it was Succession and Meryl Streep that ran away with the nom nods. Succession is nominated for 9 and Meryl earned her 33rd, making her the most nominated actor of all time. As if we needed confirmation that she’s the GOAT. Airs January 7.
In hell in a handbasket news, some 16% of American teens are on social media “almost constantly.” The Pew Research study also says YouTube reigns supreme, with 9 in 10 teens reporting to use it and 7 in 10 visiting daily. I mean to be fair, Boomers also made a place where you’d go if you needed inspiration to update your wardrobe and fix a flat tire. It’s called Sears.
Guess who’s back? Back again: Shade is back, tell a friend! Vanderpump Rules returns January 30 at 8p on Bravo. This week the network also aired A Decade of Rumor and Lies, which, I have to be honest, I really respect as a title. Like let’s not beat around the bush, right?
It’s me. Hi. I’m the problem it’s me. Taylor Swift attended an charity event for Gaza this past weekend with gal pals Selena Gomez and Cara Delevingne. Guess Taylor and Kanye have more in common than she thought…

I think Costco's parking lot rivals Trader Joe's as the most dangerous parking lot - LOL! Hope you had a wonderful Hanukkah celebration, Z! Have a lovely weekend & looking forward to Monday's AZA!
