Dovetale + Refersion: A deep dive on some changes

GreetingZ from the spectacular mountain town of Jeffersonville, Vermont! No summer is complete without a little sightseeing, so this week the fam and I made our way to a wonderful family resort called Smuggler’s Notch. The views from our hikes and activities have been breathtaking and we are loving every second of the trip. My “work from home” status is ON, and I love looking out at beautiful mountains while doing so. If you’re heading this way yourself — for summer OR winter! — I highly recommend making this your destination. I have more to say (because don’t I always!), but the itinerary awaits. As with all my trips (a new tradition??), I’ll be giving you a rundown about Smuggs and the to-dos and to-don’ts in a future post!

Affiliate Marketing ABZs: A 6-month Retrospective on Dovetale and Refersion
Once upon a time, Dovetale was a platform that I’d recommend exclusively in specific scenarios. Refersion, same thing. I’d suggest both of these as options for cases when my clients would best benefit from affiliate partners who are individual people. Like actual human beings, influencers… not companies. This is in contrast to a platform like ShareASale or Rakuten, where clients will network with other brands and companies. Different goals means a different approach, get it? So, this has long been one of my forks in the road for strategy. Either you go this way for Refersion and Dovetale, or off this way for ShareASale and Rakuten.
