Happy Tuesday, friendZ! Hope December is treating you well. Time is flying for me, per youzh, but I’m trying my hardest not to put things on autopilot just yet. I admittedly lost count at one point, HOWEVER, this is my 51st-ish Substack post in less than 50 weeks, and that’s something that makes me proud! Thanks for being part of it!

I’m cranking out writing assignments and churning away at my PR and affiliate work, which includes some consulting projects and a handful of client product launches. Life is busy in all the best ways and it gets me feeling grateful.

This week, I’ve got details on another upcoming Ask Z Anything (AZA) sesh. These have been so much fun, and I’m excited to squeeze in one last one for 2022! It’s a free perk for paid subscribers and a perfect opportunity to get some As for your Qs.

Bob McGrath, one of the original cast members of Sesame Street, passed away at the age of 90. Bob was in the pilot episode and remained part of the program for more than 50 years.
I’m super sad to share that Kirstie Alley also passed away this week. She was 71.
In much lighter news because dammit that was hard to write, Oxford Dictionaries has named “Goblin mode” the word of the year. Gen Z strikes again. We are so stupid.
In this week’s episode of Getting Old Is Getting Old, Adam Sandler uses a cane as he recovers from hip surgery. Didn’t think I’d be using these words in that order at this point in my life but here we are.
Even Elon has had enough of the anti(semiti)cs. Ye got the boot from Twitter this weekend after posting a swastika. He resurfaced on Instagram after the ban like a game of Whac-A-Troll, very casually accusing Elon Musk of being a half-Chinese clone. In related self-destruction news, West’s in-the-works deal to buy Parler is also now officially out-of-the-works, with both parties confirming the deal is dead.

Los Espookys, the Spanish-language camp comedy from exec producers Lorne Michaels and Fred Armisen will end after Season 2. The show debuted in 2019 and was co-created by Ana Fabrega.
The Mandalorian returns to Disney+ for its third season next March. It’s been a long hiatus for the spinoff series, whose season 2 premiered back in December 2020.
Wake up and smell the scandal! ABC has taken the co-anchors/co-sleepers Amy Robach and TJ Holmes off of their news posts at GMA3 after their affair came to light this past week. This was harder to follow than literally any OJ Simpson news.
