May is almost over and so is my sanity, thanks for asking! Hope your week is extremely great and productive, and that if it’s anything like mine, you’re finding the fun in the chaos. It’s been a delightful few days in Reality TV Land and I, for one, couldn’t be happier about it. 

This week has me drafting a bunch of stories, making planZ for summer, and getting distracted by literally every thought that enters my head. So you know, the youzh. • A lot of people ask me where I find my newZ nuggets and funnieZ. And I’ll be honest with you, I can’t really take credit for funnieZ. I’ve been on Twitter so long and followed so many people, I just stumble upon them and know a good joke when I see one 😆 But for newZ, one of my not-so-secret weapons is inbox newsletters. I love a great newsletter that boils down the important stuff into headlines and give me all the links I need to learn more, and that’s exactly what  Morning Brew does. It’s super relevant, not boring, and arrives daily with everything I need to know.  

• Are you on Press Hook yet? If not, get there bebes! It’s a new-ish platform to help with PR. For publicists it’s a great add-on; for brands with no PR rep, it’s a perfect solution to get professional PR tools for showcasing products, and for journalists, it’s another spot to find great sources. I use it myself for both PR and writing. As a journo, it’s a great way to learn more about brands and see their products. It’s very organized and clean, and the search is great. As a publicist, I can coordinate product samples and work directly with journalists who are interested in my clients…Think HARO, but more with focus on connecting brands and journalists. Def a reco from me! Let me know if you give it a try!

• The Smarter Brain is a fun little time for all you fellow (maybe? probably?) ADHD friends. You’ll receive actionable insights right in your inbox twice a week to help you level up in just 3 minutes or less.

• The Newsette is written for women, by women, about topics that are important to women. They break down trending topics in news, fashion, and lifestyle.

NewZ 

• Simply the worst news. The great Tina Turner passed away this week at age 83.  

• A wedding. Family feud. Death threats. A private investigator. No, it’s not a primetime cop show, it’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and they are bringing every ounce of drama we pay them to. The three-part RHONJ Season 13 reunion kicks off with Part 1 next Tuesday, May 30 at 8pm on Bravo. 

• “Oh, no… did you guys not put your timelines together to match?” Vanderpump Rules Cast Reunion Part 1 aired this week, and it was absolute perfection. Scandoval churns on. Lala put the word on the street that Tom is “a dangerous human being,” while LVP defended the Worm with a Mustache, and James Kennedy continued his incredible character arc. Shakespeare couldn’t have crafted such flawless theatrics. Part 2 of 3 airs Wednesday, May 31 at 9pm. (But you probably already knew that.)  

• It’s been a while. 10 years to be exact, and Sarah Silverman doesn’t want you to forget about her. She’s starring in a her first HBO special in a decade titled Sarah Silverman: Someone You Love this Saturday, May 27 at 10pm. 

• Sister Act of God: Despite passing away in 2019, a nun whose body was exhumed earlier this month shows almost no signs of decay. The well-preserved body of Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster is being called a “miracle in Missouri.” 

• Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are engaged. Jeffy popped the Q in the South of France where the couple is enjoying the Cannes Film Festival whilst bunking on his $500 million yacht featuring a mermaid resembling Sanchez affixed to the prow.
