Ah, Monday. The start to fresh new vibes and the feeling that *this* will be your week. Remember when we celebrated New Year’s Eve a month ago? Because it’s already FKN springtime. HOW?! I’m really in awe of how fast the weeks just go by. I cannot be the only one.

I know in a lot of areas it’s spring break time for the kids, so G-dspeed to you all. Mine is coming up in April and we’re heading down to the Asheville area for some Smoky Mountain goodness. I’m looking forward to working with a beautiful view, TBH. Been there before? Gimme all your recommendations!

If you’re still watching Grey’s Anatomy then congratulations to you and don’t you EVER let ANYONE tell you that you’re a quitter. After nine seasons, Kelly McCreary is moving on. The actor behind the character Maggie Pierce, Meredith Grey’s half-sister and head of cardiothoracic surgery, will still return for the season 19 finale, following her goodbye on April 13. So that I don’t have to catch up on the last X seasons, can someone tell me how she ends up leaving? Is she still with her boyfriend from med school back in the day?
Nickelodeon and Paramount+ announced a sequel to “Good Burger.” Original stars Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell have signed on to reprise their roles as Dex and Ed in “Good Burger 2,” based on the 1997(!!!!!) film spinoff of the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series “All That.” The movie will follow the duo as they reunite in the present day at fast-food restaurant Good Burger with a new group of employees. Production is set to begin in May, with a premiere slated for later this year exclusively on Paramount+. If you’ve watched “That 90’s Show” and hated it just like me, then join me in having super low hopes for this.
“American Dad!” returns to TBS on March 27. Voiced by Seth MacFarlane, Wendy Schaal, Scott Grimes and others, the Smith family takes to the screen for the series’ 18th season. This adult cartoon is now my ‘fall asleep to’ show, so I’m sharing in camaraderie.
In sad news, Lance Reddick of “The Wire,” “John Wick,” “Fringe” and “Bosch” died at 60. Reddick’s rep at Portrait PR confirmed that he died of natural causes at his home in Studio City, but did not provide more detail.

I’ve already talked about PressHook a bunch, but I highly, highly recommend that a PR agency and/or brand look into their services. What Press Hook is doing to merge journalists with the brands is innovative, simplistic, and an invaluable resource to both parties. They also have a new function now that allows journalists to put in their queries and get pitched by the brands, but also get automatic recommendations for their pitch based on the keywords. So for example, if you’re looking for a lipstick brand, once you put in your query, not only can brands pitch you, but as soon as you hit ‘submit’ you’ll be hit with a list of products that match your query.
